Susannah

by Williamsburg

Ornate flowers, leaves and scrolling vines from hand carved wood block printing found in the fabric archives of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation inspired this collection from Colonial Williamsburg. It is named in honor of Lady Susannah Beverley Randolph, wife of Sir John Randolph, the only Virginian knighted from the day Roanoke Island was settled in 1585 until independence was declared in 1776. In almost two centuries of colonial Virginia history, there was only one woman who had a certifiable claim to the title of “lady” – Susannah Beverly Randolph. 17 skus. On Sale August 2017. Delivery to stores January 2018.
